PREREQUISITE:
Minimum Bachelor's degree or three-year
college diploma in biological science,
health science, pharmacy, biotechnology,
or bioengineering.

The PHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY
programme is a unique intensive post-graduate
course for individuals interested in pharmaceutical
drug production. This program provides education
and hands-on training in production technology.
Moreover, the trainee gains scientific understanding
of the manufacturing process as well as other
areas that influence the quality and performance
of a drug product. Completion of this program
confers competence in various facets such
as:
Granulation
Compression
Coating
Capsulation
Microencapsulation
Drug analysis
Method development & validation

The Pharmaceutical Research & Development program
( also known internationally as pharmaceutical formulation
& drug development ) is an intensive post-graduate program
for individuals with a science degree. It is the foundation
` of all innovative pharmaceutical drug development. The current
trends in the drug industry are towards re-formulation of existing
drugs to improve their performance as well as designing and
developing new drug products. The curriculum is structured to
provide trainees with the skills required to undertake research
in the pharmaceutical industry. It also provides an in-depth
understanding of pharmaceutical drug formulation and manufacturing techniques.
